Directors

Directors Dean Atkinson and David Pontifex are passionate about exceeding customer expectations and building homes of distinction in Bayside Melbourne. We are both qualified carpenters and joiners with over 50 years experience between us, and enjoy being hands-on and customer-oriented. We establish direct relationships with every customer, and ensure open communication from start to finish. You will only ever deal with either Dean or David – so you’ll always have our attention. We limit the number of projects we accept each year so that every Atkinson Pontifex customer receives our personal service. From the initial design phase, to completion and well into the future, we are with you every step of the way.

 

Team

Unlike other builders who subcontract, we are proud to employ our own staff of 15. Employing our own staff means that we always have the best people available for the job, and our highly skilled team has a shared passion for craftsmanship and attention to detail. Choosing the right people and ensuring job satisfaction means a happy and productive workforce- very few staff members have ever left us. In fact, our longest serving team member has been with us for more than 20 years. Our dedicated team includes an office manager, full time carpenters, apprentices and landscape gardeners.
