Bellaire Court, Beaumaris is gaining recognition for its preservation of 1960’s architecture. The house has been sympathetically renovated in keeping with the retro style of the streetscape, and the original footprint of the house has been maintained. A second storey was added too, which is set back from the street to avoid detracting from the original design.

Renovations inside include the kitchen and bathroom, while floors were replaced with parquetry. Won Best Extension to an Existing Building in the 2009 Bayside Built Environment Awards for Austin Design Associates (joint winner). Atkinson Pontifex completed the building works.
